Technology is maturing. One could say it’s aging. The world is growing up. The world is changing. Years ago, the precursor to social media was the BBS — Bulletin Board System. Dialup modems were the norm. Then came the internet. Myspace. Twitter. Facebook. Times changed. Now, in 2020, the average user of “the book of faces” is over 35. The younger generation is moving in droves to Tiktok. Facebook is striving to stay relevant as it ages.
