You’ll spin up your own cluster

Every task has instructions at the beginning explaining how you set up the test environment using Vagrant and VirtualBox. This is a great way to explore Kubernetes deeply because you have full access to your own master and worker nodes.

You can also use the environment for more than just the provided scenarios, think and solve your own ones!

Why doing the CKA?

The CKA is hard but a rewarding certification. The amazing thing about it is that it’s hands-on and practical, which means no memorization or multiple-choice questions. During the exam, you can use the complete documentation at https://kubernetes.io/docs.

You’ll breathe kubectl and master your knowledge of Kubernetes Resources as well as administration tasks like cluster setup and troubleshooting.

You’ll be provided with a browser terminal and various scenarios for which you have 180 minutes time to solve.
