In this article, I will talk about what I think are some of the best cryptocurrencies by far. There are a lot of projects in the Crypto space and they’re always innovating or coming up with new systems, such as deflationary tokens.

I’ve followed Crypto for a while now and these are some of the projects that have performed the best so far and I also think will have a great future.

*Note. I’m not a financial advisor and I’m not telling you to invest on any of these projects. You should do your own research before committing your savings to a project.

Bitcoin

Bitcoin was created in 2009 by an unknown person or group called Satoshi Nakamoto, who published his white paper under the name “bitcoin-the-peoples-currency”. The first Bitcoin ever mined was sold at $0.003 per coin on December 3rd 2010. Since then, Bitcoins can be exchanged between two parties without any central authority involved. No bank, government or corporation controls this money supply. Instead, there are only 21 million total bitcoins that will be mined until 2140.

The price of one bitcoin has fluctuated over time due to its limited supply. In 2014, the currency reached a high of close to $1200 USD before crashing down to about half that value after China banned exchanges trading within their country. In true Bitcoin
